Planting Trees!

Proud of our new trees!

What a stud!

Don't they look so good!

In October of last year we got a jump start on doing the yard, we planted 2 trees in the front and 6 trees along the fence line of the back yard! Trees sure are expensive...how do those nursery people sleep at night! It was hard to get them planted considering I'm not the strongest girl in town but we got them planted and they look great! It is fun to have our yard started and we sure are proud of our new trees!

Our New House!

So like I said we have a lot of catching up to do since we're just getting a blog! An exciting thing that happened last year....In May we bought our first house! We love it, it is everything we wanted in a house! It is so much fun having a house we can call our own! Here's the low down it is a brand new house in West Farmington, it has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, an unfinished basement and is on a .38 acre lot! The yard isn't done so we will get to do that this spring...Jayson is so excited to do the yard....it is all he talks about!

Jayson's 27th Birthday!

For Jayson's 27th Birthday we went to the US
Snowboarding Grand Prix in Park City!
We saw all of the best snowboarding half pipers
compete to get a spot on the Vancouver Olympic Team!
The half pipe itself is amazing to see in person it is cool
on TV but it is so much different and better in person!

We saw Shawn White up close and in person!
Those guys amazing! The tricks they do
are so much better in person!

It was really cold but we had a ton of fun!

Hawaii!!

In January we decided to ditch the snow and cold and head to where it was sunny and 80 degrees! We went to Hawaii for a week and half! We never really went on a Honeymoon and I had always wanted to go to Hawaii with Jayson...So we decided to just go for it! Jayson wasn't sure about spending the money but once he got there he was so glad we decided to go and he said it was well worth the money! We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave to come home! We even looked for houses over there while we were driving around! We went hiking, snorkeling, walked on the beach, went to the polynesian cultural center, went to a luau, visited a buddist temple, saw the bonzai pipeline, went swimming in a waterfall, went to the hawaii temple (it was closed the day we went), swam in the ocean, got an amazing tan (that didn't last long enough), and made a lot of memories together! We love Hawaii and I can't want to go back!

WE FINALLY HAVE A BLOG!

The Scopel's finally have a blog! Everyone else has had a cute blog for a long time and now I finally get to start one! It's helpful to have the internet which we just got on Friday night! We have some catching up to do for those of you who have wanted to see pictures of our adventures for a while so after I get this whole blog thing figured out I'll post as much as a can about what we have been up to for the last little while!
